York has many boasts and claims to fame including the most haunted city in Europe, the oldest recorded shopping street in Europe, the largest railway museum in the world, the only city to have witnessed the crowning of a Roman Emperor outside Rome…and so it goes on.

What is for sure is that for Treasure trails and scavenger hunts – clue and mission opportunities in York are endless.

York also has the benefit of being small and compact and ideal for team building events for both half day and full day duration.

During a Spy treasure hunt in York – you may find yourself passing coded messages in the Shambles, Signalling to team-mates from the ramparts of the city walls or filming a scene from James Bond outside the Theatre Royal.

Events begin with ‘Spy School’ where you and your team mates will learn the dark arts of reconnaissance, code breaking, problem solving, camouflage and much more besides.
